Plate holding forceps. These forceps are designed to maintain plate position through a hole in the plate. The ball, just behind the point of the jaw, locates in bone plate screw hole causing minimal interference elsewhere in the operation site. Also, useful as a reduction forceps in soft young bone as the balls prevent over penetration of the bone.
